ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Almost every club is on the food-chain somewhere, and fans have to get used to it (sadly).

Why it's different between the wonderful Everton and the evil Liverpool is because of the bellendery attitude of their fans..who can't conceive that there are players from other parts of the country, who probably support other teams, or who may even be from different countries and who will have a better chance to win things with other clubs, and so want out of their overblown dramatic self-congratulatory cheese-fest. Not everyone is hung up on the mysticism of King Kenny, the glorious Kop, and all the BS that they spout.

We've lost plenty of decent players over the years to so-called 'bigger' clubs. Even Man Utd are getting used to having to be playing second fiddle to Real and Barca. I know it's de rigueur for Evertonians to think Pool fans are idiots - but I'm sorry, they just collectively come across like that

Would love for Mourinho to put in a low ball bid for Sterling, bit like he did to stir the waters with Rooney when Ferguson left.

Chelsea need English players and other than pushing Fabregas up from midfield they don't have a backup for Oscar in the #10 position or since Salah was loaned out a left winger to sub for Hazard. Cuadrado hasn't settled so far on the right wing either.

city need to sack pellegrini now before the baffoon splashes mass wods on sterling. he's worth about £20m at this point in time imo. great potential, but we've seen so many times before these types of players falter by 24. he's not exactly a good egg either.

Yip....the latest in a long line.

Wright Philips, Aaron Lennon (despite a few few good games for us), Downing, Adam Johnson, David Bentley, Darren Huckerby et al.

Burst on the scene as youngsters but never lived up to the hype.

...I know there is varying opinion but mine is that Sterling is a fine player and very important to the way they play. Sterling out and Milner in on £100k per week will make them weaker. time will tell.
