ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Agree with all your criticism of Liverpool's tactics and the reasons why it makes sense for Sterling to leave.

Just don't think his agent has done a particularly good job of getting that message across. For instance he has made very little use of either their appalling CL performances or the fact that they are not even qualified for it this year. There has been no mention of them getting kickout of in their first EL round or their embarassing FA cup result. Or talking about their inability to recruit quality replacements. Your post above has done more to convey that than anything I've seen him achieve.

He has allowed Liverpool to anger him enough to lose his temper and throw insults rather than facts around.
Agree, his agent has been terribly unprofessional. I just think it was a moment of weakness caused by months of frustration.

I truly love it in work at the moment, we haven't set the league on fire this season but red shoit supporters avoid eye contact when you approach them. I delight in their newfound awkwardness.

Like father like son.

Problems are like trees. Cut off the branches they grow back. Fix the roots and they don't. RS is only the branches. The 'way is the roots

Its the difference between a floodlight & a laser beam. We are currently a floodlight. We need to use the same power but become a laser beam

I know it is a silly analogy but I'm trying to paint a picture!

Paul Dalglish @pauldalglish · 11h11 hours ago
So to give my solution. Bring in somebody to create the way. It can't be the manager as if he losses the dressing room or under performs...

Paul Dalglish @pauldalglish · 11h11 hours ago
...he has to go but the 'way' must go on. Can't give a manager the power as there job is only short term. The person in charge of the 'way'.

Paul Dalglish @pauldalglish · 11h11 hours ago
..has to be long term as it will take time and will probably get worse before it gets better but you have to stick with it.

He's obviously angling for Daddy to get a job back.

As a previously poster has suggested a lot of noises suggesting Rodgers will be gone soon.
Paul Dalglish obviously parasitises self help books, poor bloke

Oh here y'are......the Oracle has stirred and speaks....

Aldo: Sterling must now get rid of his agent
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/aldo-sterling-must-now-rid-9305096

Former Liverpool striker and ECHO columnist John Aldridge believes the reported outburst today from Raheem Sterling’s agent, Aidy Ward, “cements” the view the player is being badly advised and he needs to look for a new agent.
Ward was quoted in the Evening Standard suggesting Sterling would not sign a new deal at Liverpool for even £900,000 a week while also describing Jamie Carragher as a “kn*b”.
The agent is since reported to have denied the quotes and is understood to be taking legal advice......
Aldo told LFC Former Players Association 5Times: “This shows exactly who he is and what he is and just cements the fact that
Raheem Sterling needs to change his adviser.
“What kind of agent would speak like that about a player who has played over 700 games for Liverpool and is the best pundit on TV?
“I bet he’s never kicked a ball in his life but thinks he knows all there is to know about the game. If he knew about the game he’d know about respect.
“As I said before this shocking outburst, what the agent has done to Sterling has been absolutely woeful. He hasn’t just tarnished his own reputation he’s tarnished the reputation of Raheem Sterling.
“Some representative that is.”

And heres me thinking that he said this week he was fed up being asked questions about Stirling...Libpool supporters interrupting him when he was out on the ale etc etc ? So he goes out on the ale at their p/poor version of our Former Players Association...the originally named 5Times....and asks another question himself. Textbook RS.....Dr Aldo and the new 'Hypocritical' Oath.

What gets me are the pauses...presumably for supposed dramatic effect. All they do though is reflect the truth....that the phoney is buying himself time to try and think of something to link to what hes just said....and usually failing. God knows what PR guru has been coaching him...the sideways glances...the facial grimaces... whoever it is must be mad adding Rodgers to their c.v.

I think...<gulp sideways glance> it's not part of any really stratergy as such<touch right earlobe>....it's more about an inner belief <flash the new teeth with obsequious grin>..that he's holding court..and passing on some great knowledge.. and deep thinking...<sideways glance>.....or he's got the early signs of dementia...<look intently at the person asking a question and say nothing in return but touch side of face and pull another 5hit eating grin and gulp>..

A
HAHAHA!

That told them:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32830357

Aidy Ward reportedly said the England forward, 20, will not sign a new deal even if offered "£900,000 a week".

"I don't care about the PR of the club," Ward told the Evening Standard.

In the newspaper interview, Ward also used a four-letter expletive to describe ex-Red Jamie Carragher, who has criticised Sterling's actions.

"He is definitely not signing. He's not signing for £700, £800, £900 thousand a week. He is not signing," said Ward.

In other words:

He hates them and can't wait to get away!
lol

Oh and Carragher's a pyar bell !!!
And Carragher works for sky not the RS, why don't Sky fire him for his obvious lack of impartiality, oh wait . .

Same fella that advised Dick Van Dyke on Mary Poppins, FACHT.

This is only funny because it's happening to Liverpool

If Barkley had a very good season then turned down 100k a week and insisted he wanted a move. We would have a similar fume.

Liverpool of course have handled this very badly, but if one of the top young players in country wanted to leave us before fully developing AND with only 2 full seasons of first team football under his belt. We also would be going through a similar meltdown.

Don't get me wrong I'm absolutely reveling in their current misery. But the people who say Sterling is totally justified in wanting to leave right now before properly learning his trade are wrong imo.

I know the Rooney situation is different in many ways....Like he was 10x the player at Sterling's age for a start, but they do have some similarities..

Like Rooney left us before his time..... Some people still haven't got over that (me included) and we were consistent relegation fodder at the time.

So let's not pretend the [Poor language removed] fans are acting totally irrational about all of this, because we would be the same.

The ex players on the other hand should be ashamed of themselves for some of the crap they've spouted in public.

Its fake though isn't it. The complete FRAUD that is Rodgers is trying to make out like he's Bill Shankly reincarnated.

Its obvious. So as well as his 'makeover' and the teeth straightening we can add his odd fake accent and speech pattern to the list.

Anyone that claims he's not putting it on needs to take a proper look.
