No way milner getting 165 of the rs. Lol. 100k the most

you do realise they spent £25m on lovren. they're utterly desperate, if this is true he's instantly their best player. he's a consistent performer and well they don't have any of them in their squad atm. ... unless you count being garbage as consistent.

they're very desperate atm, i wouldn't put it past them.

It would be a good signing for most teams, but I am not that sure its a good signing for them given that where he wants to play - central midfield - is the one area where they actually have players who havent been a complete waste of money. You have to imagine that, unless he is an RS or his agent is a complete buffoon, that he will be on approaching what City offered him.

Also lets not forget that the last England international of a similar age who they signed on a free was someone who was better than Messi*.

* who has scored 20 club goals to Messi's 285 club goals since then.

Not a flashy signing, more of an everready battery signing. He's a high energy CM with a decent range of passing and can be used as a good wingback with quite good crossing ability.

He'll solidify 6th spot and push them up to 5th. For Man United/Arsenal/City he's a squad player, for the rs he's a vital player. So not the player to get them back into the champions league but one to protect their keystone kop defence.

Hope Brenda has got more up his sleeve than Milner and Ings or there may be trouble ahead. Believe me,there'll be no freaking moonlight and love and romance with it just gnashers p45 and more kopite tears.

Couldn't they have saved on wages by pushing Can into CM and getting a better striker than Ings.

Brenda has no say in who joins the Shoite.

Bringing Milner in would be the first good move Liverpool have made since they bought Suarez. Consistently good performer.

Hopefully the deal breaks down and he goes elsewhere.

Milner's a decent player who's consistent week in week out but he's not going to push them on from 6th to top 4.

It would be a strange move going from a club who pay high end wages and challenge for trophies year in year out to one bobbing around the Europa league but I suppose none of the other CL clubs fancy him and City look like they'll spend big again on a squad revamp which will diminish his role even more so he needs out.

Losing Gerrard, Leiva and Sterling and gaining Milner won't make them stronger.
