ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

A kopite mate told me that Rodgers wont get a penny if he walks/resigns to avoid this :

"Liverpool accounts showed they were forced to pay off Dalglish and his staff with £9.5 million at the start of the season after deciding to replace him with Brendan Rodgers.

According to the magazine, £8.52m of that went straight into the pocket of the Scotsman, making him this season's highest-paid British coach without even having to manage a single game".

Rodgers will only get compensation if he is sacked. The way the Pascoe/Marsh sackings have been handled, it seems like they were trying to push Rodgers out of the door but he refused to resign.

..refused to resign because he has no principle. View from pub Reds is that he should've gone as soon as his back room colleagues lost their jobs.

Have a read of this:

http://heysel--they-call-us-murderers.blogspot.co.uk/

Always the victims - it's never their fault.

He's a total pr*ck.....But nothing out of the ordinary for that lot. I'd love to go on a live Tv/radio debate with him because I'd tear a hole as big as the grand canyon in every claim he makes.

He goes on that liverpool didn't have a crew (Fair enough; they've only ever had half a one for united) that they were more interested in thievery. That's alright then.

Except it's totally untrue to say that Evertonians were dressed by rat kopites coming home from their European tours. After all, Northern Ireland, Trabzon, Tbilisi, Dresden & Sofia were all hotbeds of European fashion then, wern't they?

I was one of the first people in this country to have a pair of Adidas olympia-s. Our kid got me them from Austria. (Similar to trimm-trabb) He went across europe (Belgium-Germany-Austria) with a group of lads totally unrelated to any football match involving any english club when he got them. Out of about 10 who went, two were kopites.

He doesn't mention the 'auf wiedersehen pet' british contingent who were working abroad in those days......Instead, he glorifies the thievery that them kopites carried out on an industrial scale.....Except it wen't on the scale he wants you to think it was, he tries to make out they're 'lovable rogues' when in fact, they - and they alone - are responsible for the deaths of 39 people.

He complains about Evertonians slicing up Jobe Henry (Strange how a rabid kopite complains about a manc gettin' it, innit?) while he conveniently doesn't tell us about this though. Didn't happen, see? Except it did. At analfailed (around 1972 I think.)

That's what THEIR 'crew' did.....And much worse, as we're ALL aware

"But Evertonians did this, dem blues did that......"

EXCEPT NOBODY WAS KILLED AS A RESULT.

And still no apology from him. Instead, short of actually saying it was Everton's fault Heysel occurred, it's just a [Poor language removed]-slingin exercise in the desperate hope that someone (who isn't a rat-kopite) might be dense enough to be taken in by his bleating, outrageous whoppers & shameful hypocrisy. Nobody - BUT NOBODY believes them.

Gobsh1tes like him need sectionin. Rant over.

Ha, one of their own. As if such things really matter. I didn't realise we have had (at least) seven players in our colours who have won the European Cup (4 playing for us and then moving to a team which won the competition and 3 coming to us having won it) but - for the sake of the argument went to look it up.

Kidd (scored), Neville, Eto'o (twice)- David Johnson, Ken McNaught, Rooney and Materazzi (scored)

Liverpool set to reappoint Pako Ayestaran to coaching staff as Brendan Rodgers' new No2

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-set-reappoint-pako-ayesteran-5836323

Liverpool are going back to the future with Rafael Benitez’s old No.2 Pako Ayestaran set to return as the new assistant to Brendan Rodgers,
writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

Rodgers has been left without an assistant after his right-hand man
Colin Pascoe followed coach Mike Marsh out of the Anfield exit door this week.

And the hot favourite to take over is Spaniard Ayestaran, who worked at
the Merseyside giants for three years under the watchful eye of now Real Madrid boss Benitez.

Ayestaran is back in Britain from Israel, where he led Maccabi Tel Aviv to a domestic treble as manager.

He will act as Rodgers’ assistant, with Alex Inglethorpe also a candidate to be added to the first-team coaching staff.

Inglethorpe currently acts as Liverpool’s academy director, but is being tipped to step up alongside Rodgers and Ayestaran.

That all ended in tears last time under the FSW...his so called best mate...... though at least then they attempted damage limitation by gagging Ayestaran. It would appear that they cant even be arsed with that now even (given Marsh's comments) with the calamitous domino effect events theyre enduring now. Long may it continue too.

Tom Cleverley has won more Champions League matches than Manchester City have in their history

http://metro.co.uk/2014/11/06/tom-c...anchester-city-have-in-their-history-4936872/

Tom Cleveley has become a joke figure in football, but the stats apparently show Manchester City should be an even bigger laughing stock when it comes to the Champions League.
City slipped up against CSKA Moscow last night, with their dreadful form in Europe’s elite club competition continuing, and after the game this incredible stat came out on Twitter.
Cleverley, currently on-loan at Aston Villa from Manchester United, won more Champions League matches while at United – than City have in their history.
The stat is distorted a little as City haven’t been playing in the competition for long, but Cleverley wasn’t a regular at Old Trafford, so there.
Poor City.

What's Mike Marsh had to say Ja?
