Or maybe he does try and hit that player you identify, but he gets his standing foot too close to the ball and hits it off that foot and it goes straight on rather to the intended target?

I think if he plays inside (which he seems to have insisted on in talks over a deal) he's going to be a disaster for Liverpool. As said the other day: nearly all his managers came to the conclusion he's better off outside.

I don't think Ings is much upgrade on Borini and Lambert.

He scored plenty for Burnley, but I don't think he's ready to make a big step up.
