I generally dislike the deluded, brain-dead, overly sentimental Liverpool fans a lot more than I dislike the Liverpool players or managers...and Rodgers is a lot more appealing than Rafael was with his Everton-small club schtick.
Rodgers clearly is a bit of a tool with his Brentisms and his habit of saying everything is 'outstanding' - but I think managing Liverpool must be one of the hardest jobs in British sport along with England cricket captain (esp in the 90s) and England manager. I think Rodgers knows that this is the best job he will ever get, no-way will the CL clubs take him on, so he's being sensible with the payoff
Anyway, the longer he stays and the longer a Klopp/Pep/Ancelotti stay away then the better for us, as their stock will surely plummet further
