Think Ings looks a player, not so sure the mighty LFC will warm to the lad. Can't remember the last time they bought a player and actually liked him.

Kopite.plenty of things to laugh at them about but signing milner and ings for a combined total of around 6m isnt one of them.
Weeeerrrrllllldd claaaasssssIngs and Milner - that must mean everyone else is playing for second spot now

But it seems Milner might have got upto £10m as a "golden hello", that on top of £150k per week wages for the next 4 years for a player nearing his 30's doesn't really look such a great piece of business.
Also Ings will likely cost around £7m and he's not really going to add much to a forward line that consists of Borini, Lambert, Origi, Balotelli or the part time Humpty Dumpty wannabe. When you consider what they've spent on that lot it'd even raise a laugh at a mortuary Havrey.
If that is right about Milner, I am surprised FSG sanctioned the signing. I agree with you Dougie looks a bit silly.

.....any player signing via a Bosman will surely demand a hefty signing fee. In Milners case it has to be significant as does the salary as he was offered a new contract by City.
Rumors swirling on the interwebz that Ian Ayre is the next one out the door at the shi#e
Utter meltdown over thereBlimey. If true. So they have an underwhelming season, and coaches go, now the suits....odd.
We'll never have a better opportunity to kick the buggers when they're down than this coming seasonlolUtter meltdown over there
