still think Milner is there best new sighing don't know enough about firmino and clyne is par with what they have already been playing.
If they get rid of Mario and Lambert and get another striker in they could be in for a decent season, worry for them could be who steps up to the Stevie G roll to lead the midfield.

Stevie G was almost finished, but its not just about him as a player, he was the Captain and im sure lots of players looked up to him, local lad, won them games on his own for years.

He cant be replaced, they can buy as many players as they want, they are utter no marks from now on.

Not impressed with strikers that don't score (Ings, Origi), Hendo being the new Gerrard, and Milner at the age he is now being something to take you a step up. Hopefully Cline turns to crap like Southampton players do at Anfield. That just leaves Firmheadio and their next five or six signings to consider.

Still makes me giggle when they thought they'd introduced a whole new way of beating the transfer market when they signed Sturridge and Coutinho. Moneyball they called it. Before that and since then they paid 4 maybe 5 times over the odds for every player they've bought.

My red mates are getting very bulled up over the impending season. They think they are serious top 4 contenders. I just say "no you're not, not really" .
Interesting thing : these blokes are rational and sane on every subject outside of their football team.
