My red mates are getting very bulled up over the impending season. They think they are serious top 4 contenders. I just say "no you're not, not really" .
Interesting thing : these blokes are rational and sane on every subject outside of their football team.

Delete interesting, insert astonishing !!! Ive got a mate like that but in a reassuringly RS way, he still bulls*its frequently... about us.:D
Ive now taken to reminding them that Slippy is still blaming Rodgers about his tactics v Chelsea losing them the League. That usually makes them stare into space for a minute or two.

So £50M spent already.

That's a cool £300M soft arse has spent since he's been there.

7th, 2nd, 6th and no cups.

That has to be the worst payback in terms of cost-benefit in PL history.

No wonder the Kopites are looking for the no mark's head on a plate.

How do you rate the rs signings so far, enough for a top 4 place

Pfffft!

Clyne is bang average. Gomez is one they'll have to bring through over the next few years...if they're lucky. Firmino I dont get - £30M! Even the Bundesliga experts were flabbergasted at the price. He's not what they want in terms of solving a goal scoring crisis either. Milner: yeah, fair enough, good signing. However, good signing if they keep him out of the central berth he's demanding, so all bets are off on that one for now. Ings: Burnley class.

It's appalling. I cant believe the feller is still there...especially having stabbed his own mates in the back. Scumbag of a man. Lowest of the low, as well as being a complete failure.

Well that's money well spent... :oops:lol

Another striker to add to their list of Sturridge, Ings, Ballotelli, Origi, Borini, Lambert? Either Rodgers has the most bizarre formation in mind or theynare going to have to sell one or two at a loss.

But if the Reds are to obtain the services of Bacca, who scored 28 goals in all competitions last season, it seems they would have to meet the player's buy-out clause of £21.5million.

Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says Bacca has told Sevilla he wants to leave the club but the La Liga side's sporting director Ramon Monchi has said no bids have yet been received for the 28-year-old Colombian.
