he's better than falcao or cavani imo.

He's got a decent goal scoring record, I suppose (although playing upfront for Madrid for 5 seasons you should do).

Maybe I'm being harsh on him, but in the games I've seen him at Napoli and Argentina he looks a choker when it matters.

he's alright like, but yeah not a big match player. but why are they buying 2 or 3 new strikers every single summer? if sturridge isn't crocked then he's no.1 and all their new signings are on the bench. they just can't stick to anyone and it's totally laughable.

Your not being harsh Dave, the fella needs about 4 clear cut chances before he bangs a goal in. I hope they spunk an absolute fortune on him and then have to sell him to Celta Vigo for about 3.9m 18 months later.

I've no idea how Argentina keep faith with him. He's destroyed two finals for them in the space of 12 months. I saw Napoli a few times toward the end of last season and he looks disinterested and/or shot in confidence terms.

Maybe Brendan's man management skills can turn him into a world beater? :coffee:

@davek

Still awaiting your utter savaging of the ECHO for publishing such utter tripe like that earlier.

Sort it mate. I'm tied up watching the rerun of the Everton game today.

Him and Balotelli up top, what dreams are made of and I can't wait to see what the milky bar kid on gobshyte TV would have to say about that dream pair.
