TBH that is why I cant work out why he has gone there, if United were an option he would fit there far more than he would at the RS.

I'm glad it's not just me , they just don't cross the ball nor have players that seem to look for that . Seems such an odd signing even though he's a very decent player

Hahahahahaha! I need to change me bills now

"Meff of the highest calibre" lol Oh, me aching sides.

The Gerrard Perpetual Publicity (...but its not about me) still churning out the gut rot after his new teams 5-2 win in the MLS. The banner headlines cant hide the usual, though hidden away...

Los Angeles Galaxy 5-2 San Jose Earthquakes: Steven Gerrard shines and scores in all-action display as he inspires new club back from two goals down on Major League Soccer debut...Steven Gerrard scored, set up another goal and won a penalty as the LA Galaxy beat San Jose Earthquakes 5-2
You're 2-0 down inside 25 minutes; what do you do? Give the ball to Steven Gerrard.
That was Liverpool's default answer for nearly 20 years. It seems it's the same for the LA Galaxy.
Even here in Hollywood, you'd struggle to find a script more far-fetched than this.........
On his MLS debut, the Liverpool legend pulled his new side up by their boot straps after a truly disastrous start.
This was vintage Gerrard. The 'when we are in a hole, I'll drag us out' Gerrard....
There was even a dubious challenge that could easily have resulted in a red card thrown into the mix. This performance had everything

He won Galaxy's 30th minute penalty, perhaps fortuitously, when he was elbowed in the face by Tommy Thompson
It was the Gerrard we've been accustomed to for nearly two decades. We've seen it all before.
Unfortunately, his tackle on Bernandez just before the break just as his familiar.
The challenge left the Earthquakes defender crumpled on the floor with only one boot.
The visitors were fuming, demanding Gerrard be sent off. The way Gerrard quietly left the scene of the crime suggested they may have had a point.

Sometimes I think I'm going nuts, but the other morning on SKY sports they were doing the papers round up and showed a two page article by Lucas(their longest serving player SKY told us)telling the Kopites not to worry about the Sterling sale they would be stronger for it,no problem there, you'd expect him to come out with something like that, however the article in question was in the S*n,now why on gods earth would their longest serving player on their books(he's not a know nothing kid)do this, also why haven't their lot been all over this like a rash?Is it just me or is this double standards of to suit themselves yet again? If it is just me I hold my hands up and apologise!!
