True Torres was quality in his first few season and suarez was a beast.

Very true.
We may have abused him as a ladyboy, but Torres with the RS was quite superb... except when up against Jags.
Goofy is a massively talented and exceptional footballer, tainted by his biting, diving and injury feigning flaws.

I read a few days ago that with the sterling deal it comes to around 29 million net if they land Benteke.

They look like they have done good business, seems a lot better than last season.

I think Milner was the best deal they did this summer and he was a freebie.

maybe, but they've lost their best player. spent a wad on a brazilian who i'd never heard of apart from fellow blues wanting him for £12m and bought a striker who feeds on crosses when they've sold their only winger.

For any other team, Benteke would be a good signing.

I'll be amazed if he gets 15 goals this season, and he'll spend a third of it injured

To be fair, Benteke is a much better player than Sterling, so that's good business....

Milner is a very good addition too...

Losing Gerrard will actually improve them as Rodgers doesn't have to find a way of keeping him in the side just to keep the media happy...

Firmino? However its spelled, is a wild card....not sure where they'll play him, in behind Benteke or out wide....

Ings must already be wondering where he fits in....

One thing they deserve credit for is they done there transfer business good and early before the new season has kicked off....
One thing they must be careful of though is overspending to challenge for Top 4....

Very good point. Expect Chelsea Arsenal and City to have CL places. And my money is on Utd to get the 4th place at least. That leave the rs scrapping around with spurs and hopefully us. Not what their board will be looking for

Benteke had a fantastic first season but since then he hasnt been that good. 23 goals in 54 games isnt the mark of a top level striker. Especially as he took Villa's penalties/

Liverpool FC fans got the chance to swap their shirts emblazoned with the name of a recently sold player, for brand new ones.

Carling’s Shirt Amnesty van parked at Williamson Square as part of a campaign to support football fans across the country during the summer transfer season.

Fans who once proudly wore their Raheem Sterling shitrs, as well as other former Liverpool players, were able to trade them in for a new one totally free of charge....

Freudian slip by the editor? lol

Seems like a service a fair few Aston Villa fans would love to use right now ;)
