I read a few days ago that with the sterling deal it comes to around 29 million net if they land Benteke.

They look like they have done good business,seems a lot better than last season.

I think Milner was the best deal they did this summer and he was a freebie.

edit: i say that and then look at my own posts and see ive got way too many doing the same. Cant stand pre-season, ill give the lad the benefit of the doubt

agree, milner will be the deal of the season I think. Milner and 49 million for Stirling effectively isn't it .

well QPR had a big percentage of the fee and milner would have definitely cost some sort of signing on fee as well as his wages being a lot more than what sterling's were.
 

Interesting to see how the fee of 32.5m will be paid apparently it is to be paid in installments which is a joke after city paid them 39m in one lump sum
