Liverpool promised (contract) that they would bring best team to Helsinki tonight. No Benteke nor someone else "good". Finnish pool fans feel a bit betrayed I understand. HJKs officials gonna talk with RS.

Just keep reminding them of the £289 million Brenda has spent with nothing to show for it..... is it another 6 or 7 in again this season ? How can you build a team when you change 5 or 6 players every season ? Even amateur coaches know this.... it's just impossible in prem league unless you're buying top top world class playe..... oh, this is Liverpool, they only sign werld class laa
 
They forget to buy a worldie keeper (could have tried for Cech at the least), only bought a decent right back to replace Emre Can't, still operating with one dodgy and one ugly thug in centre of defence (as usual - Smith, Thompson etc) and the left back is still not good enough. The captain is not Fantastic.. and their star striker is likely finished (though they have at least bought Benteke (if they use him properly, ditto Milner and Formaldahido)
 

Instead of demeaning John Stones, McDermott should aim his remarks a little nearer his former club.....

"But some are going to end up fabulously rich without a trophy.....
“They are multi-millionaires – some of them within two years for achieving nothing. People will say you can’t take medals to the supermarket to pay for your goods and they are right .....

Then again, his bitter tone throughout the piece could suggest he actually does mean them.

Ever wondered how silly the transfer window can be?

Well, Everton have signed a player, according to the Metro (via a Twitter account), of whom there is no actual trace of online.

Of course, he may exist, this 14-year-old Norwegian wonderkid, who is called Aleksander Askilsrud.

But such is the madness of the transfer rumour mill, you just don't know.

So take him, and plenty of others, with a pinch of salt.
