Clyne, Gomez and Milner were decent buys for what they paid and we would be made up if they had turned up here. Benteke was a good buy for them but if there was a genuine choice between United and the RS then his agent really needs to be fired. Firmino was just a mad signing at the time and it hasnt become any more less mad over time, unless Brendan knows Coutinho is going to jib them off in a couple of years and has given up on Lallana.

Bogdan and Ings are just the sort of signings that make you realise that some footballers must prefer money to playing meaningful football.

That bell Harry Redknapp saying it's the worst Liverpool team he's seen for years.

Then he goes on to say he loves Liverpool, and it's the one job he'd love most, but he can't see it happening this year.

Being a bell like, but for once, it's to be applauded.

Redknapp is applying for the job, as he senses Rodgers will be gone by Christmas and like the arch opportunist he is, he smells money and sycophantic adulation. I think this worse LFC team compares with the rubbish that beat us in the semi final a few years back. That was THE worse RS I've ever seen.

Ings - fixated on a decent Championship footballer, sure he got a few for Burnley - against Stoke (2), Villa (2), Newcastle, QPR, Palace, West Brom, Hull plus a consolation goal against Everton and United.

Bog-dan-average reserve keeper - Robles with red hair

Firmino - a fancy dan on the early evidence.

Gomez looks ok, Benteke is good when he's on his game. Milner is ok.

watched them the other day, he cant have long left if they carry on like that they looked clueless in midfield.
with the players they have should be doing better, well just enough to keep him there i hope

they spent about £70m and we spent under £20m - surely their benchmark should be a bit higher than that. They probably just have to be honest in the fact that they've improved their first team more than us ... but that's mainly to do with the fact that their first team needed more fixing than ours.

we proved that we're not a selling club and won't be bullied. For all their financial backing they proved they still are a selling club though.

to be fair, i think they have. Kid is going to be a monster in the game in ~3-4 years.

I agree he looks a good player already but if he makes a howler them lot will be all over him, giving him abuse on Twitter, death threats to his dog etc...he should of signed for us

There is little doubt he is a half decent player but he got exposed at the Emirates and on Saturday. He will have games when he plays well and games he doesn't, that is what generally happens with young players. But the Kopites have already put more pressure on him than is necessary, as they do with the latest 'world class' player they have and the longer Rodgers stays at the RS the more he will ruin Gomez. Wasn't Markovich the best 'gem' last summer? Where is he now, on loan in Turkey. Wasn't Moreno another 'gem' who was the 'best left back' in the country last season? The great impostor runs with youth when the media have their attention drawn to young players, in particular English players. Rodgers will ditch him when the going gets tough, indicating that he is to blame, like he did with all the other players.
