Ha Ha Ha. That has to be the dullest book title ever.

Right up there with 'The Good Carpentry Guide'.

FFS. PMSL at that.

B-Rod is there until at least Christmas, now what we need is a draw against Villa,us to hammer them,Klopp to take over at Sunderland or the horse punchers this weekend,us to humiliate them which results in him getting the sack after all,and Gary Mc
leading them into a relegation battle,Stevie Me coming back like a knight in shining armour as player manager only to slip in
the final match resulting in them being relegated
Id happily die after that

I have 2, no, 3, sorry, make that 4 worries.

1) They sack him tomorrow...all good things come to an end.

2)He's still there for the Derby and we STILL manage to make a pigs ear of it...So Everton that.

3) They actually fluke into somebody good.

4) It's slipped my mind for a minute, hope it come back in the 10 min edit time, but what ever it was, it had me worried.

Somebody take a guess: anything else about the last few hours, days, weeks, of brenda's reign that worries you apart from the 3 above.
I've been worried he'll still be there for the derby, we batter them and he gets sacked the next morning.
Would feel painfully like doing them a favour.
Would be one of those good problems though.

Gerrard in his own egomaniac Machiavellian way would relish the thought of a theatrical return to Anfield. Hes made the tawdry Dalglish spectre hanging round Hodgson/Anfield scenario seem almost decent by contrast to his constant chipping away at Rodgers position and tenure and not just the book....picking his quasi coaching staff should he have been manager etc....what he had to give if only he'd been asked etc. The problem hes oblivious to in his arrogance, is that the only place Gerrard dragged the RS up off their arses was in two showpieces...Istanbul and the W Ham Cup Final. On the pitch. That particular shining light was snuffed out in the Chelsea and Palace debacles never to return. Even the RS are fed up with him now that the pennys dropped....Benitez etc. He doesn't realise of course that hes showing himself as an ever increasing sh**house along the way.....and that fact pleases me even more than ole Todgers position at the moment.

"Rodgers has had to deal with uncomfortable headlines linking former Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp with his job, with scrutiny building after Liverpool needed penalties to scrape past Carlisle in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday. And quotes from Gerrard’s new autobiography published in the Independent will do little to improve matters.

Liverpool led the table by five points with three games to go until they were beaten 2-0 by José Mourinho’s side in April 2014, and would go on to finish two points behind champions Manchester City.

The match was decided in part by Gerrard’s slip which presented the ball to Demba Ba for a breakaway goal in first-half injury time.

But in ‘Steven Gerrard: My Story’, the influential midfielder – now with the LA Galaxy – points the finger at Rodgers as well.

Gerrard said: “I’ve never been able to say this in public before but I was seriously concerned that we thought we could blow Chelsea away. I sensed an over-confidence in Brendan’s team talks. We played into Chelsea’s hands. I feared it then and I know it now.”

Oh yes Stevie me, we believe you that you had reservations about the Chelsea game, 'too much overconfidence'. Have you forgotten that immortal scene.

Stop it I'm on a bus and don't have a newspaper to hand.
