LIVERPOOL -- Brendan Rodgers insisted he still feels "secure" in his job as Liverpool manager and claimed he has never been told to deliver a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Rodgers is adamant he does not feel under pressure at Anfield and said owners Fenway Sports Group understand that rebuilding Liverpool is a long-term job and that no replacement would be able to bring success quickly.

A 1-1 draw with Everton means Liverpool have only won one of their last nine games and, after finishing sixth last season, are not currently on course to return to the Champions League.
