ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

We badly need Chelsea to sack Jose* and call Klopp - assuming he's still the real deal - just to pish the RS off.

*would accept Jose walking of course - he's not going to be interested in taking on a team in 11th place is he?

Some stunningly bizzare articles on the Echo today

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...liverpool-fc-talking-point-dismissal-10194653

Everyone but Rodger's fault apparently.

From that article:

A young manager with an ability to improve young players and a philosophy of attacking, possession-based football which could challenge the chequebook Charlies at the Etihad, Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.

Utterly, utterly bizarre........like, they are skint and have spent bugger all.

Ancelotti would turn that place around, as would Klopp

Hopefully they get Steve McLaren in instead

Ancelotti would have a chance given how he coped at Chelsea.......Klopp is totally untested at the madhouse type of club he would find at either The Bridge or The Pit and would represent a real gamble for buth LFC and himself.

Klopp would actually be better suited to Everton than Liverpool.

Just like Bobby.

The problem for any manager going in there, as I see it, is the weight of expectation created by all concerned with it.

From day one his head will be filled with this bizarre sense of "specialness" and mawkish sentimentality they are mired in.

The embedded pundits will take to the airwaves and back pages talking about a long gone Golden Age as if it was last week and it just takes a tweak here and a twist there to put them back "where they belong".

And the cultists will lap it all up and have "flag days" and victory parades round the streets of Anfield if they do go on a bit of a run.

The now familiar fun will continue ;)

Let's just hope Konig Kapitan Klopp gets the full negative lowdown on living in the North West and, of course, all the total nonsense about Kenny's Kult Klub..

If he's got anything about him he'll spend 30 minutes reading Der Rot Und Weiss Klopp and get into that APLT thread for starters.

(Sorry about the acute shortage of umlauts).

But unfortunately not the likes of Stoke or Crystal Palace. They've got the rose tinted glasses out pronto enough...having booed them off the last three games decreasing Rodgers cachet further with FSG who don't like "their product's" USP (blind undying devotion of the cult) damaging their "image"....aka to them, market value.

Isn't that Martinez?

A decent manager would use their considerable riches to build a regular top four side
Nar, squads to big, and they'd need to shift a lot off there wage bill which they would struggle to do, too many average players on mad money who they couldn't give away, vault me, they won't make top 6 for at least 2 years no matter who they bring in as boss
