He's not going to fit in at all!
"Twenty-five years ago is a long time," said Klopp. "History is only the base for us; [we shouldn't] keep the history in our backpack all day."

Have been Klopp fishing a lot today. It goes a bit like this...

Start off by saying he's just a MkII Brenda.
Then say he's the German Neil Lennon who was managing in two horse race.
Talk about how he couldn't cope when his players left for really big teams.
Then suggest that is why the [Poor language removed] have gone for him...as he'll now know how to cope when good players leave for a genuinely big club.
Claim that Martin O'Neil would be better as he got to more finals in less time in an equally poorly competed league.
Sit back and watch the fume rise.

I'm a bit jealous if I'm being honest.

They've gone from having someone who was a fraud / charlatan getting them to 2nd spot to somebody who actually has a decent managerial record. I hope I'll be proven wrong but I just can't see this going wrong for them at all.

Also, it's amusing that every one of them has to bring up Martinez, like the abilities of LFC and EFC managers are somehow linked and affect each other.

Think they are just happy again that they have a manager that is (perceived at the least) to be better than ours.

I agree mate. But what's success for them now? The money they spend they should be challenging for top 4 and winning a cup. If he succeeds with that then he will be lauded as Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly's love child. But they will never have a Suarez again, the planets will not align like they did 2 years ago and if they do finish 4th then they'll have to juggle competing in the CL with challenging for the top spots which they've never been able to do in a generation. So with that squad, best of luck to him.
