Like I said earlier for his long term sanity it's probably better if they don't win any of these next 3 games other wise it's going to go from hysteria to mania pretty dam quick.

The injury shouldn't be factored into it at all, he was fit when signed and injured whilst a Liverpool player, so Burnley can't be punished financially for that, the England cap shouldn't factor in either as it happened after he was already a Liverpool player - although those things may factor in the minds of the tribunal (although they shouldn't), the Spurs offer should and will be taken into account as it reflect the value of the player and what another team was fully wiling to pay for him - thus is the benchmark of an estimation they will use i guess

Gomes and Ings both down over the past few days and both with serious ACL injuries, Christ bad luck and a half that is, like i have said before wouldn't wish it on anyone and hope both can come back from them, although got to figure that both have a huge uphill battle ahead of them now

Shame about Ings. As much as I'd wish woeful performances on their players (they often oblige), I don't like to see injuries.
