He's finding out pretty quickly by the sound of it. If they do actually beat Spurs on Saturday (a club they generally do well against regardless of form) it's bound to go up another notch or two as well.

Like I said earlier for his long term sanity it's probably better if they don't win any of these next 3 games other wise it's going to go from hysteria to mania pretty dam quick.
Its sailed passed that mate, we're on Waco Siege level now!

Bit more background here..

Never like to see any player with a cruciate injury and Liverpool have had bad luck the last week.

The tribunal still haven't met to decide a fee that they need to pay for him, wonder whether his injury, his full England cap or Spurs high offer will be taken into account.

The injury shouldn't be factored into it at all, he was fit when signed and injured whilst a Liverpool player, so Burnley can't be punished financially for that, the England cap shouldn't factor in either as it happened after he was already a Liverpool player - although those things may factor in the minds of the tribunal (although they shouldn't), the Spurs offer should and will be taken into account as it reflect the value of the player and what another team was fully wiling to pay for him - thus is the benchmark of an estimation they will use i guess
