does he have the best win % of any liverpool manager ever?

i know he's spent the most, but he did spend it on utter tosh so had a crap squad which makes his record all the more impressive. RS fans are so deluded by over-emphasising how crap he was and how they're better off without him. he's the only who's managed to mount a title challenge in their time in the prem.

This is why I couldn't really enjoy the last days/weeks of Brodgers rule, there was such an air of inevitability about it coupled with his usual desperate soundbites it just ended up feeling like watching an old family dog with an incurable ailment before the vet finally says 'enoughs enough...'

"we'll never get another Brendan" <sob sob>..I loved Brendan in all the wrong ways.

I never watched it, but it was shown over here. On my 50th birthday, which was on a Sunday that year, some friends joined me for a few bevvys and to watch some NFL. Still somewhat pissed from the night before (a "surprise" party that dragged on till 3 in the morning), I wasn't exactly behaving. An ad for that series came on the TV and I couldn't help myself. (Spoiler alert -- bad word coming.) I shouted loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear, "Being Liverpool! You mean Being Mongoloid!" One of my friends shot beer out of his nose and the FKW at the bar -- the RS had drawn at Sunderland the previous day -- was not impressed.
 

As FSG are amongst the "old hands" at the club now given the frequent regime changes in the Backroom, I understand they've already had a new room built under their celebrated new stand to bring back tear-jerking memories of "The Liverpool Way".

Unfortunately, the Signwriter responsible for Room I/D was found to be an Evertonian and the offending sign, "Das Beaut Room", has been removed.
