It's a total rip off of something Fergie did 20 years ago. However Fergie did it after the team had achieved something and, more importantly, *he* had achieved something.

Was chatting to a red****e mate last night and got onto the topic of diving. He said "players like Suarez, Young, Bale and Jelavic are ruining the game". I still can't quite believe he classed Jelavic with Suarez.

If you isolate the emails it looks pretty standard "PR man contacts fan" stuff (apart from a reference to 'reneging' on a deal).

I cant understand if the blogger was so anxious about what the meeting entailed he didn't cover himself by recording that meeting. It's not a nice trick in normal circumstances, but these weren't normal circumstances: he was talking to a paid corporate firefighter who he knew had him in his sights.

Maybe the blogger has recorded it though and hasn't let on yet. That would make sense, because he surely knew the emails aren't near enough to hang this Chang feller out to dry. I bet Chang is gambling that no recording was made...if it was he's well and truly ****ed.

You're right. If the cult get a bit of Yank bashing in their nostrils and identify Cheng as their point man it's curtains. If they're not arsed I suppose he could limp on.

Personally, I cant see why FSG would want to keep him in his position. He's damaged goods.
