I'd be devastated if they got Huntelaar - and I can actually see it happening. The owners will be keen to make amends for what happened in August in terms of transfers.

They'll sign a striker in January and if they have to I think they'll throw mental money away to do so.

I actually don't know why anyone of any quality - even mediocre talents like Walcott - would go to Liverpool. Even in terms of wages they don't pay massive unless you're an established "star" like Suarez or Gerrard.

Walcott could get similar wages at Arsenal and have an infinitely better chance of CL football.

Downing's on 80k mate and joe cole 90k, think walcott would be getting similar to that amount if he were to join. He's been looking fairly good this season, always a player i worry about when he plays us - but i don't know why because we all know he'll cock it up when he gets in the bix.
