FSG, in the next four windows that their price freeze is in place, can now just trim transfer budgets and keep more cash than they could have hoped to have collected through increases to ticket prices...and they'll get no stick (or fewer giving them stick) because they know they have a perfect excuse in place: the fans wanted it this way. "Want us to compete with those above us? Our hands are tied on that".
It's a pyrrhic victory, and in any case just on £60 now is hardly that much better.

It's 19 next season isn't it?I don't think it's even that much. I thought the £77 was only going to apply for Category 1 matches of which there are around 8 per season.
