it explains a lot mind

it'll hurt them if Leicester win it. This really will be a lot of peoples second favourite team this season going against the money clubs. You won't get fans of West Ham and Southampton wishing for their own teams to lose matches so they don't have the insufferable cult following weirdo's winning a title. Suddenly 'they dared to dream' after spending hundreds of millions to blow it spectacularly will look all the more stupid if a team who has spent peanuts manages it.

Exactly, they all thought their title attempt in 13/14 was some sort of victory for working class clubs and that if any of the non moneyed teams (who they bizarrely associate themselves with) were going to win it it would be them. What has now come to pass is that they had the season they did because they had one of the world's best players playing for them. Leicester are the genuine underdog story and may actually carry it through. Liverpool fans just don't like any side that take media attention away from them. Once they get knocked out the Europa the fume will set in as they cannot stand irrelevance. The media will try and placate them by talking more about their mythical chase for fourth than Leicester's title run in but they'll all know they're non players yet again in the business end of the season.

The fume levels have gone through the roof on RAWK ever since we became rich.:D It's nice to know that they are afraid now that we have the financial muscle to compete with them. They have good reason to be afraid. As for this talk about a soft run to the final we beat that lot and Man United back when both clubs had decent sides back in the 2009 FA cup for all the good it did us in the end. They know the FA cup is in our grasp and once we land a trophy then i think things will really take off for us.We have a talented team.We have a manager who has his flaws but is of the mentality that Everton FC bow down to no one and we have a squad full of players that they salivate over.Since 1990 all Liverpool have had to shout about is finishing above their cash strapped neighbours. Now the landscape has changed. We have the resources to reclaim our place as kings of English football and relegate Liverpool FC to their pre Shankly days status of mere peasants and nobodies.:D

apart from beating the premier league champions and another premier league team away from home (Bournemouth) we also breezed past the mighty Carlisle who the loveable reds should know is not an easy game at all

"Liverpool 1-1 Carlisle (3-2 pens) Capital One Cup RESULT: Brendan Rodgers relieved as Reds scrape through to fourth round"

Not to mention they played Carlisle at home and only got through on pens

The Echo's David Prentice was interviewed on Radio 4's Today programme this morning and the sports guy asked him what the feeling was on Merseyside after the Utd fans chanting the Hillsborough stuff. Basically "the feeling in the stadium was initially one of bewilderment...the thought that we'd put those days behind us....then disappointment....ultimately disdain...the fans didn't particularly react....they shook their heads in dismay.....".
I was tempted to add yes..such measured dignified dismay that one of them felt compelled to drag Evertonians into it by impersonating one of them on a fans forum stating that Evertonians had insulted the memory of those at Hillsborough in a match. But I didn't. Dignified dismay ?

Just imagine the meltdown if they went out tonight. Shame United are absolutely dreadful.

Still fancy it to be uncomfortable at times but they should sneak through.

To be fair she was'nt pm when that pic was taken, that's got to be mid 70s

I think that BISC covered that.
