Just imagine a United Liverpool final in a 34000 seater.

We will see, I've just posted what I've seen on SSN not ten minutes ago that Seville probably won't take their allocation.
If you've ever watched la Liga, there are normally less than 1000 away fans at any ground.

are there any bigger stadiums in Switzerland? the final goes to a different country each year which is the right thing, keeping it to only countries with 60k+ stadiums wouldnt be fair really.

Basel, for me, was a really nice city but then again I don't live there so maybe it gets boring but defo a nice city for a day trip. Coventry on the other hand is not a day trip kind of place ;)

The strange thing is that they want to promote the Europa League by giving a Champions League birth but then take away by putting it in a smaller stadium.

This does not mean I support Liverpool FC but support the City of Liverpool and such a thing can only be good for the City of my birth. I have no idea how many or who of the people who post on GOT are Liverpudlians like myself but if they were I am sure they would understand what it is to be proud of one;s birth place. Come to think of it, I bet very few Evertonians of your acquaintance would ever refer to themselves as "Liverpudlians".........proud or otherwise :pint2:
