Oh dear.

To think, they campaigned the loudest, the longest and the hardest of every other club's fans ever for the twenty's plenty campaign, too.

Looks like even their (majority southern) support don't want to witness livvahpole on the end of a(nother) tonking - even at a reduced price.

:coffee:

Maybe they don't fancy it as Chelsea don't have a really, really, big stand, with escalators and banners and stuff.

The bitters...lol

"They've started well, but then they were always likely to, with a generous fixture list in the first couple of months. They should finish around 7th, which will be an improvement for them and realistically the best they can hope for, as they have far less quality than the teams that will comprise the top 6, and are so dependent on Lukaku for goals it's almost comical. Their results so far are deceptive, they've barely played anyone of quality. Sunderland are absolutely appalling and an embarrassment to the Premier League."

Well wouldn't you just know it, and they are an embarrassment to our great City, a ticket robbing, thug and racist backing shambles.

they've been a one man team for about two years. which considering their squad costs about £200m+ is embarassing.

we spent a mass amount of money on a world class striker, he's our focal point, that's what you do when you spend big money on a striker. Some people are so thick it's unreal.

We've barely played anyone of quality... how did they get on against Burnley again?

the start of their season is against the type of teams they do well against and have done for the last couple of years ... with the exception of burnley, who make up about 2/3rds of the season. It's not as bone and dry as them saying "we've had a hard fixture list and have got a good points return" - that arsenal line-up wasn't hard either.

They're proper mentalists the lot of them.

Have you heard of the Folf table on their RAWK forum? They do a league table with a golf-style scoring system (beating Utd at OT is a birdie on a par 5, losing to Burnley (snort) is a bogie, or some such nonsense) based on the results from each weekend. They keep changing the rules of it so they are always (near the) top.

If only there was some sort of accurate football chart, or table, that logged stuff like results and goals for and against and it was updated after each round of fixtures. I'm surprised this hasn't been done.

Was this built by the chuckle brothers?
Nah mate it's to keep the riffraff away from the tourists with the expensive tickets.

Alternative premier league table mate, after beating Sunderland last night we got relegated straight to the conference.
I for one am gutted but when you factor in all the parameters (taking into account wind speed) I suppose it's fair.

You're wrong there mate, you spend £35m on a grock of a centre-forward who can't play the style of football you play and £12m on a player with cheesestring muscles, then £16m on a known mentalist to replace the only fit and competent striker you have. Then when you realise he should probably be sectioned you spend £32.5m on an injury-prone replacement who you then sell the year later, along with the releasing your mentalist on a free transfer.

haha, you've made that up, i'm not that gullible.

i love how nobody has pointed out how the APLT never mirrors the eventual table. I get the idea of an alternative table to be used for the first dozen or so games, but it has to add up correctly in the end.
