ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They've got a good chance this year sadly. They'll definitely get top four at a minimum.

Just got to hope they get a few injuries or they tire out.
I know how poor they are presently at defensive work, bit I can't imagine Klopp allowing these to slip up in terms of CL qualification. They're still off City's quality though...although Stones might give them a helping hand!

He'll be at Barca soon, no doubt. At 24 years old, you've got to be looking at an opening offer of £60million in today's money.
If Liverpool didn't have him they'd be toothless. He is the string puller. In the same way as we'd be knackered if Lukaku was injured, the same is true of them with Coutinho.

the tv/media are fawning all over liverpool at the moment, cant turn tv or radio on without hearing how great they are. imagine if they won it....

Whereas a few sensible Liverpool fans I've spoken to (I know... there's not many) are quite sheepish about praising him for a number of reasons.

On his day he can score some wonder goals, his movement can be great and even more so combined with passing. But regularly he disappears.

Obviously every player has lulls, but these are lads who watch him home and away week in week out and they'd be happy to sell him on.

For me that's a massive sign as those lot across the park are normally well into their hyperbole, whereas they'd be far from reluctant to sell.

Great on his day but is his influence over inflated? Is he as good as the media would like us to believe? I'm not sure.

Yeah but wheres he been for the other 9 games?

As I say, 1 in 20 games he looks a proper player, the other 19 he looks like a midget out his depth, thats why he cant be considered WURLD KLASS.

I do agree with your sentiment, but you are exaggerating. He isn't as good as everyone thinks he is, for example he was non-existent against the Mancs on Monday, but he is world class 1 in every 3-4 games, not every 20. And he is gradually improving his consistency.

Furthermore, he is far better than Barkley, who is actually world class 1 in every 20 matches.

Well Dave vaulted a post from 2 years ago, so yeah hes improved since then, but then Daves chatting bubbles about going to Barca, which LOL.
