ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

He knows the title has gone. They have run out of steam having aimed to start fast. They needed to be out in front by now. I think he will finish 5th and we'll finish 6 or 7th. No doubt they'll be leagues better than us and Klopp the best manager in the world though. There will only ever be 1 winner of that!
Another trophy. They are filling their trophy cabinet all the time. Apparently (see an earlier post) they're leading the points against the 'Top 7 League' at the moment. It's not quite the APLT but it's a top, top trophy.

The lovables doing their thing.

Absolutely sickening that, disgusting.

That club has a persecution complex from top to bottom, and what's more, it is not only excused but indulged.

The irony of this given the rightful support they have received in the context of Hillsborough makes it especially unfortunate. Only they are allowed to be victims. I don't know how, but then they succeed with a complete airbrushing of the Heysel thuggery. It's the Heysel disaster of course, as if human intervention had nothing at all to do with it.

That tweet is disgusting and appalling, not representative of the vast majority of their fans clearly but still emanates from this bizarre cultish sense of entitlement to be right and to receive pity that is consistently indulged and tolerated.

of course not, but still, let's say that they don't have attract them at that club, their "minority" is massive compared to everyone else's. I wish social media would vanish, gives kids like this the time of day to think they're somebody.

People should be locked up for saying things like that, everyone tries to be a joker these days and say disgusting vile things at others' misfortune because they think a couple of strangers will re-tweet them. What a sad sad life to live. Locking people up would hopefully make them think a bit more. Kids, ffs.

Well the inadequate ones who follow Liverpool FC, those who needed their mother's breast but we're denied the milk of human kindness... they are the lowest of the low. Funny how Man U with their extra titles nor Chelsea/City haven't attracted the same number of pathetic lowlifes as the RS.

Meanwhile:

Liverpool could yet test the regulations by playing Matip in the FA Cup replay against Plymouth on Wednesday - wouldn't it be beautiful if they were Legia Warsawed out of the FA Cup simply because they arrogantly thought they could take on the authorities by playing Matip?

Liverpool legend slams Manchester United for "lack of class" in Old Trafford draw

John Aldridge said Manchester United began playing like Wimbledon

But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp pointed out United's long ball tactics and Aldridge believes it showed a lack of class from their arch-rivals.

"I tell you what made me laugh at Old Trafford. A side like United, having spent so much money, throwing on Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini and turning into Wimbledon, trying to win flick ons," Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.

"It just shows you the lack of class, it really does.

He doesn't have a happy history with Wimbledon FC like.

Karma will get these people.
What goes around comes around.
I'm not on twitter, would be nice to know if any decent Red fans came back at them.

I think the thing to focus on here is that this person is a detestable human. The football team he supports doesn't really come into it for me.

This is another thing about Twitter which seems to be a theme. People attaching grim traits of an individual to entire fan bases. A red I know put a screen capture of someone with 1878 in their user name calling an ex LFC player the N-word with a similar "Everton showing their true colours etc etc" narrative and I said the same to him.

Twitter is a cess pool of idiots given a platform they never would have had in the 80s to spout their bile. Vile, vile invention. Bring back 2 cups with string between them I say.

still bitter about that loss vs wimbledon then. It's just rambling for rambling's sake. He says they lacked class, but doesn't actually say why. Because they played long ball? RS have spent just as much recently and never had to do a rebuilding job like united have, yet their long ball (sorry precise long passes if you're a kopite) % of the season is higher than theirs.

He's a petulant child in a man's body.

The centre-back, who has not played for Cameroon since September 2015, was withdrawn from selection by the club for Sunday's 1-1 draw at Manchester United as FIFA failed to provide the necessary guidance on the player's eligibility.

Best free transfer ever according to that lot, also amongst the best 2-3 cbs in the league. Maybe they're now seeing why exactly he was available on a free, he's hardly ever available and when not injured he's not available due to this.
