Liverpool legend slams Manchester United for "lack of class" in Old Trafford draw
JOHN ALDRIDGE says Manchester United lacked class in Liverpool's draw at Old Trafford yesterday.

John Aldridge said Manchester United began playing like Wimbledon

But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp pointed out United's long ball tactics and Aldridge believes it showed a lack of class from their arch-rivals.

"I tell you what made me laugh at Old Trafford. A side like United, having spent so much money, throwing on Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini and turning into Wimbledon, trying to win flick ons," Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.

"It just shows you the lack of class, it really does.
Yeah yeah we lack class. I hope Mourinho goes out and gets a big CB like Steven Caulker but only uses him as a striker to lump it forward to so we can win even more flick ons.

They nearly won the league hoofing the ball up to Suarez every week....oh hang on, they were searching passes, not long balls.

He also goes on about how United never threatened but that Mignolet proved what a great keeper he is. And their fans lap this stuff up.

I think the thing to focus on here is that this person is a detestable human. The football team he supports doesn't really come into it for me.

This is another thing about Twitter which seems to be a theme. People attaching grim traits of an individual to entire fan bases. A red I know put a screen capture of someone with 1878 in their user name calling an ex LFC player the N-word with a similar "Everton showing their true colours etc etc" narrative and I said the same to him.

Twitter is a cess pool of idiots given a platform they never would have had in the 80s to spout their bile. Vile, vile invention. Bring back 2 cups with string between them I say.
Read my post again mate. The bit that mentions any decent red fans.
It basicallly says what you said.

Let me get this straight, John Aldridge has criticised people for having no class?

Also bearing in mind Liverpool have now parked the bus against city and united ? Not one mention of it, like Mourinho said afterwards, lets see what you write about the game.

Then again its Class and decency FC we are talking about here. Worst part is that I said its okay as they gained 4 points, they still didn't agree lol

When they don't win they fire up the media propaganda machine to full power. They can never just say 'you know what we were just not good enough'. No they have to claim some sort of swindle or conspiracy, make out that the opposition resorted to hoofball or over physical play, question the referee, blame anyone but themselves for it.

If opposition teams had brought their finishing boots they would have lost to United and City in the prem and probably be out the league cup the way they've defended. They've actually been extremely fortuitous in some games but will never ever acknowledge it.

They know their season is on a knife edge, another bad result or two and it's all over. They had all just assumed they were going to steamroll United and Chelsea would have dropped more points by now. If they don't beat Chelsea at Anfield the meltdown is going to start.
