All I remember is them knocking United out. Slipped my mind completely that they got the final as well. That is a nice memory to get back then .
M
I'd forgotten they knocked United out until you mentioned it. Contrasts with the years when them, Arsenal, Chelsea and United were reaching Champions League quarter finals every year.

who is that? Lol

Missed that at the time who punched him?

Hahaha it was a picture taken on the BBC website reporting on the trouble between Liverpool and Sevilla fans at the game. This gem of a photo was taken at the most perfect moment in time:

Earlier in the day, the subject of this photo was seen on Sky Sports talking to the reporter about how Everton fans would never be able to experience a European final like them and that we're missing out. In his hand he was holding a bottle of orange Fanta.

Hence the nickname and many, many photoshopped pictures afterwards. #fantascruff was trending on Twitter in both the UK and Spain, as Sevilla fans joined in the fun and camaraderie.

And there goes the legend of #fantascruff.

I thought Rodgers was a god send but fair play to Klopp he really has delivered some wonderful opportunities to wind them up. He's perfect for whipping up their cult like religious fervour to breaking point then letting them down with an utterly awful performance in the big moments.
