They are a bag of ****e. You can all dress it up as much as much as you want, but ultimately they are ****e lads. Full stop. They are 11th and we are in December. No doubt, those dickheads will all tell you in work, they are within touching distance of top four. Let Wat Tyler tell you all this: There is no chance LFC finish above EFC. Full stop.

New lads just started at my work, lovely lad but bad bitter kopite(about as much as am a bitter blue tbh). So as you can Imagen we clash when football comes up.

He's the type of lad who when where talking about how well WBA are playing and if/when they'll start dropping points. He'll just blert out "everton are **** tho". Which then gets a big laught from all the reds to which I would reply thus starting a argument but in work am out numbered 6-2 usally with my other blue being a MOTD watcher and dosnt really give a **** any more. It gets a bit circular.

Anyway the treble issue.

So me his lad and another red are all talking football crap. Then this lad says "yer its like the season we won the treble".

To which I said " you won a treble not the treble, uniteds the only team who have won the treble in the PL.

"it's three cups it's the treble. It dosnt matter what cups they where". This ended up in a bit of a tiff anyway.

So anyway I was just wondering am I being a pedantic tit or was he trying to embellish his teams achevments?

You're dead right mate. They won 3 trophies which is pretty good for one season but one was a mickey mouse cup and the other one not much better.

Still, I'd love to win one trophy in a season let alone 3.
 
FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup in one season is boss.

Not the ultimate but still very cool beans.

I can't ever imagine us doing that.
 
Just thrust his head into the computer screen. There is literally no football talk to be had with kopites. It's like their collective brains are all sourced in one central location and they all repeat the exact same reposts and put downs. Belters the lot of them.
 
Yer I admit it's very good but "the" treble is the PL, CL and the FA that's what the argument about.

I'd love to win any of the cups they won with there treble. But if we won the COC I wouldn't make out like we won the CL.
