Sad though it is Sheeds, think you are bang on the money there. Put aside the fact its that lot, and he seems a bit of a tit, at the end of the day, he feels he is being paid below the going rate, proven by others getting more than him. He could break his leg on Saturday, and that could be that for a long career, so cant blame him for going for as much as he can get away with. I would!

He could snap his leg tomorrow and it could be career over.

He'd be stupid to take anything other than £50k at Liverpool. The precedent is there, he has every right to take advantage.
