It's not long till it all kicks off their. I am trying to fan the flames, nothing like a civil war to wreck a club. They nearly went bust (and down) last time under H & G. I suspect the next decline could be more serious. They fell from champions league finalists to the bottom 3 (and subsequently stablished and picked up to mid table after the takeover).

Apart from one season they haven't really left upper mid table since then. Regularly finishing between 6-8th. If a similar decline comes it will be far bigger drop.

What they will need is a cool head (a Benitez/Houllier type) yet they have a manager who is completely unhinged, or potentially Stevie G to step into the Alan Shearer role and fulfill his destiny of not just costing Liverpool number 19 but taking them down.

It will be a fun few years this.
