ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Bit of RAWK madness.

"Only baines fellatio and maybe naismith or jelavic would walk into ours (team)".

Reply:

"None of those players would get into our team. The only player at Everton who would "walk" into the Liverpool team is Mirallas".

"There is really not much difference between Baines and Enrique, Baines is exceptional from dead ball situations and crosses but aside from that he is an average defender".

"Fellaini would probably get in if Lucas was out again but he'd not be able to get the starting spot from him".

Some, to be fair, have shouted the down as madness. It's just the frequency of comments like these that's hilarious.

A few good games an Enrique is as good as Baines again? They did this last year before he developed a crisis of confidence and lost his LB berth to a RB. Says it all.

Fellaini would be at the very worst their 2nd best player if he went in that team.

They try and derive some sort of pride from the fact that we are a good "team". They like to spin that and try and relate it to our earlier teams under Moyes (e.g. 04-05) and attribute every success we have to "team spirit". I.e. they have better players, but Everton are the plucky, gritty underdogs who done good as a result of hard working players punching above their weight and playing to their "strengths, Stoke-style".

Yeah, we have a close-knit squad and the word "family" is used all the time by players. So f*cking what? That's a result of careful and responsible management. Of the outfield players, Baines, Jagielka, Fellaini, Jelavic, Pienaar, Mirallas and arguably Gibson would be preferable to what they have, in their favoured positions. And how much did that lot cost?

well said, after all it is a team game.

They're not even on my radar at the moment. Mid table team of jarg players.

exactly, with regards to league position they're not, a couple of wins over soton and wigan is not going to change that for me. arsenal and spurs are the only teams concerning me really as opposed to whether we can get 4th, 5th or 6th

They're on my radar mate, however sh*te they may be,you always know dark forces come into play with that shower!!!Always remember 1986!!!!

Escape that mindset. They're s**t, we know it, everybody else knows it, their fans just haven't realised it yet. A nice 8th place finish or lower might open a few of their eyes. Worst squad in my lifetime, owners who will not bank roll them anymore, and a manager who fancies himself as the next Guardiola but has the managerial skill and face of Don Lino from Shark Tale. FACHT.

This, we all need to stop bricking ourselves at the thought of them, moyes especially, weve got the better team, we play better football, we should be looking to boss them everytime.

The fact that they were all jizzing over scoring 3 goals (one of which was an OG) against newly promoted West Ham because Suarez was suspended shows how much they've fallen.

Wish I could,it comes from 40 odd years of "conditioning"and of knowing what to expect from us and them, the b*stards!!!
