Social media has been entertaining to say the least.

All the typical posts from kopites and they seem to miss the point that the fan base it seems just isn't arsed about losing the game anymore.

State of this....

The thing about arrogance is that you can't help but look a right knob at the same time.

look back at the match thread mate, going back a few days, and you'll see that isn't the case. Of course we're bothered, what a ridiculous statement.

Some kopite on facebook trying to claim that our players insulted Ronnie Morans memory by throwing off their armbands or something.I have no issues with Liverpool being better than us but the tide will turn eventually and some of their fans lack off class and respect will come back to haunt them in time.As i said i have no issues with them being better than us but im sick and tired of them acting sanctimonious and taking offence from everything and anything especially when their no angels themselves.

mate, i gave up faith years ago that their disgusting fanbase will have what's coming to them. The only faith i have is that one day i'll die and not have to put up with the things they do. All the disgusting lies like this and they're by a massive stretch the luckiest sporting team in the world, everything happens perfectly for them, and do most of their fans deserve it? Do they [Poor language removed], all the posts in here after moran's death were positive from blues saying how they hoped he got a good send off. Some people are just sad that they resort to these lows, every bloody derby they come out with some tripe like this.

There was a young Evertonian today, who could have been no older than nine, was sat with what looked like his Red dad in the Main Stand.

When we equalised he understandably jumped up with scarf and had a little cheer like an enthusiastic child would. No taunting just celebrating.

Their stewards then subsequently tired to throw him out while his dad pleaded for them to stop before only stopping when police intervened.

Also, apparently not watching the game and looking away from the pitch is now enough to be removed. Pfft!
What a bunch of jobsworth bells.
I went to check out the Bramley Moore boozer today. About a third were kopites. One said he'd sold his season ticket. Embarrassing tits.

i imagine being a Utd supporter isn't what it used to be. Your thoughts?
Because they've gone through four years without winning the title since their greatest ever manager left; it was always going to take a while for them to A good enough manager to replace Alex Ferguson and give him enough to to actually do something. But some perspective here please, During these four 'awful years' they've won an FA Cup and a League Cup and look serious contenders for the Europa League this year. Yes it's been some dark days at Old Trafford!

I don't know about anyone else but, if that lot were about to descend on the area, I doubt I'd want to be anywhere near it. Still, I suppose, where there's no sense there's no feeling.

Do you think that Liverpool are now doing a Everton of Moyes Era ?

Balancing the books unless selling a player or CL qualification ? It does make good business sense for a club owned by businessmen.

Yeah to a certain level yes.
Under moyes we had to sell to keep afloat though.
Fenway i think are in it to make a buck or 2. Coutinho will be the next one off.
Noticed when he was getting subbed yesterday not once did he applaud the crowd or anything. Just straight off

I was in a predominately Red pub before the game chatting with some heathens (friends) and they were pretty much saying exactly this.

Just like us, they expect comments soon of a sizeable war chest that coincidently marries up with the period for ST and hospitality renewals.

Lots of talk whether Coutinho will stay and if he does leave then they'll expect their net transfer expenditure to be relatively small if none at all.

Also, they quite openly mentioned that the club will refuse to battle with the top clubs on wages so do not expect any real marquee signings.
