@davek , Henderson rumoured to be unlikely to play again this season after that bruised heel ^^, Klavan and Lucas with muscular injuries and not available, and Matip again broken down with another muscular injury.

Reinforces my point about klopps methods breaking down players, imagine the state of them with CL games on top.

The evidence isn't good from both his last two clubs, I agree. But (and as I've said before), if you have a well funded squad (even of 20/21 quality players), then you can fight on all fronts and allow for repetitive stress injuries to pile up without it derailing your plans. If I was Klopp and I came to one of the biggest earning clubs in world football I'd demand the right to be in that position. If not, then he may as well have stayed in Germany.

In short: he shouldn't be in this position again while in England. If his board are drawing in the purse strings then he should go. His method is sound for the business model that any football club with massive ambitions must have and the cash has to be there to back it up. Over to FSG to fund it.

Don't they pay Klopp a decent wage at Liverpool? I ask because, as well as being in that TV ad for Bet Victor, I saw him on an advertising poster for glasses outside an opticians this morning. Do other Premiership managers appear in adverts?

Just Mourinho in that betting advert? oh and Wenger was in one too - can't recall what it was for though.

You are spot on with that. See Sahin and the lad City signed. The thing is, Lallana has just got back to training, with a muscle injury, rushed back into training I should add. Most managers would now give him 3-4 weeks to get back to full match fitness, with probably 2 of those meaning he wasn't involved in match day squads. Not them though, he'll be in the match day squad and will probably get minutes tomorrow- and they wonder why their players are developing long term problems.

After what Fergusan said about Henderson's running style I can see him having ever increasing injury problems. This was meant to be a two week injury and back for the derby. If They rush Lallana back again they could increase muscle damage there, for a lad who's nearly 30. Wasn't Mein Fuhrer meant to have solved Sturridges long term injury problems as well? How did that one work out for you.

The long and short of this post is, a lot of his core players are already looking increasingly injury prone, before the added intensity of CL. My moneys on Dortmund MK2 in the next 2-3 years (without the title, just the relegation dog fight).

You can see how poor they are when the injuries kick in. They had nothing off the bench.

I still think they'll get enough points from their remaining fixtures to get 4th, but they should have sealed their place in January and didn't allow Klopp to invest.
