Sounding "bitter" there lad. You are hoping for this outcome ? They have a great chance of catching the rs and also the Europa.....would that wind you up....??
I don't care either way, really. I think Liverpool have the better long term plan but as I said earlier, I think only Chelsea are beyond us next season. If we buy well in the summer we have great chance of getting into Champions League. All the other English teams have big weaknesses.

Champions League or not for both Liverpool and Man U does not change much. Both will be looking to spend big this summer. It would be bigger deal for Liverpool as Man U have the money and the name.

RAWK would go into meltdown if Jose of all people somehow took 4th off Liverpool. City's run in suggests they will do enough to get third, United will prioritise EL so sadly I can see Liverpool sneaking 4th.

In regards to the rs mate, they have moved from 7 behind with equal games played, to 3 behind with 2 games in hand.

If each team just gets the average per game points for the games in hand the rs will be sat in 5th

Yes, but this does not include respective run in. Man U and Liverpool have injuries, but Man U have harder run in and also Europa League. Liverpool have been poor since early December, they did enough in December to eek out some wins. Liverpool of August/September/October and most of November was excellent, and why they are where they are.

Yup mate, Liverpool will revel in the easier run in, their record against the teams near the bottom is brilliant, as for where they are, yup in third with both teams below set to go above them once they play their games in hand.

Was funny seeing origi fall over at every opportunity today though whilst benteke banged them all over the shop like a cheap hookers back door though.

Liverpool and Man U are the biggest teams in England by name, they will always be able to get players. When I say that they have better long plan, I mean in terms of Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal. I cannot see Mourinho staying too long. Liverpool had great summer last year with getting rid of some really awful players and getting in some good ones. Mourinho has always gone for big names over sensible signings that make sense. Nobody knows what will happen with Arsenal.

As I say earlier, aside from Chelsea, I think all other teams need some big changes.

you really think Liverpool had a great summer getting rid of rubbish players and getting new ones in? What players are them then? Mane for sure but not sure of anyone else???

I will leave this site if Liverpool do not finish in top four.

They've had this "plan" for about 8 years now and in that time they've won a League Cup on pens against Cardiff while Chelsea have won the Prem twice, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup twice. Not including the double they're probably going to do this season. Usually a "plan" involves making progress.

Come on, look at the rubbish they sold. Mane, Matip, Wijnaldum, all improve the squad from what they had. Karius will be OK too.

Yes, but they didn't have Klopp. They haven't had a great manager since Benitez who left maybe 7/8 years ago. Hodgson and Rodgers, and even Rodgers almost won them a league, they can still attract great players, even when winning nothing.

The only hope of the RS missing out on 4th is if Watford can do them next week. They'll tonk saints at home and Boro and West Ham won't be able to do what they done to us could have done with Carroll/Antonio fit who would have terrorised them at the back from set pieces.
