ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Does anyone at the BBC actually look at what that idiot Lawrenson predicts? A side that hasn't won the league in 25 years is about to enjoy an unbeaten season by his professional opinion. Their city neighbours will draw over half the games that they play in this division despite winning the last nine at home on the spin, beating last years Champions and having the Premierships top scorer leading the line.

Now, I assume Lawro is paid for his insight by the licence holders and as such he should also be asked to explain his decisions. To be honest, I'm actually not advocating that - he's making such a prick of himself as it is, this bias should be picked up elsewhere.

Complete and utter weapon.

Just to pass a quick moment I thought I'd check the latest insight from Lawrenson for this week's games. Yep, you got it, the unusual one has predicted another Liverpool win away from home and Everton to get beat. Fast forward next week and repeat.

They're still very much in danger of being pushed down to 6th depending on how both Mancs and the arse do in their games in hand.

That would be amusing
It's going to need a rather specific set of results, given Utd play Arsenal and Spurs soon. On paper, City have a very straightforward run in, and I can definitely see them finishing 3rd. Question is whether Arsenal and/or Utd can string the results together to oust them.

If 6th is gone by the last day, play the kids.

It is just a pity United have to go to Spurs.

Can't see them winning there.

I can't either but I thought they'd get nothing last night or Chelsea at home but they just keep grinding away and getting points.

I still think Arsenal can take the RS, I've gone form wanting Arsenal to lose to wanting them to win now.

There's definitely another loss in the other crowd as well. Watford, Southampton who've already schooled them twice this year or West Ham with Carroll and others back from injury can all potentially do them.

Liverpool could easily go the rest of the season without winning. Without Mane and an off form Coutinho theyre nothing special.

United's tricky run in/ injury list and Europa League fixtures could help them though.
