Some poor sod up the road gets burgled or gets his car smashed up and nothing but a shrug of the shoulders and 99% of the time just given a crime number given with no police attendance. Full Bus's coming out of town getting bricks thrown through the Window yet nothing, not even worthy of a officer showing up whilst the culprits stand there laughing waiting to brick the next one. A crimes a crime, but Police deffo only instructed to look after the rich and famous... His Porsche Window broken, my heart bleeds for him...

That's harsh. The poor man will have to go to work for 10 minutes to pay for that to be fixed.

Please. Everton is more like the Real Sociedad of England. Atletico is more comparable to Tottenham.

He's challenged:

Nonsense, Since Spurs last won the league in 1961, Everton have been champions 4 times. In that same period Atletico have won the Spanish league 6 times; I'd say the Everton-Atletico comparison was a very apt one.

Kopite has another nibble:

Only desperate bitters would try to compare Everton to Atletico.

I put him in his place:

Only desperate (27 years and counting) Kopites would decline a back-handed compliment. So ingrained with putting down Everton (9 titles to Atleti's 10) that England's 4th most successful club isn't allowed - in their small minds - to be compared to Spain's 3rd - even allowing for the fierce loyalty and great ground (oh, go on then.. North Wales, Wood.. . blah blah blah).

Some Kopites are just ashamed of nothing they say... Compared to Real Madrid.. (as my comment surely implied?) - nah, let's say Galatasary - you sir, are welcome to the club from Hell.

Definite glory hunting div from Norway desperately trying to show he 'gets' the rivalry.

Well guess who's second and likely to overtake us this summer?

We really have wasted a lot of time and resources not getting anywhere. This unfortunately is true. I would happily relinquish this to the RS next season.

Well, I suppose there is an argument which says that we would have gone somewhere happen we had not wasted a lot of time and money.

And that somewhere would have been the Championship :(

Yes. A very good point. Anyway we are where we are, and hopefully we're about to go up a level next season and try to compete for silverware.
