Maybe they'll, you know, sign more players, like they seem to be in the process of doing.

Personally I'd be more worried about how we're going to cope with Europe given our already weaker squad and lack of any movement so far to be honest, but each to their own.
Swerve it you kopite blert.

Thanks for the suggestion, Tommy. Know youre new to the set up here, however as realists we do that honest hair-shirt self flagellation on the Everton Forum. This one is for highlighting our neighbours lack of irony, their unique sense of entitlement, tapping up of players, media infestation, wikipedia pseudy quotation banners, managers teeth etc. You get the gist.

Southampton A v Southampton B will be intriguing next season. The funny thing is the A Team seem to reinvest their annual dividends more sensibly and have even got home grown youths coming through. I'm not surprised UEFA are investigating this latest possible infringement of the FFP rules. Is it not already £100m and counting including twenty big fat ones for Lovren and four of the same big fat one that was the Tugboat Lambert? Another £60m for a centre back shouldn't come as a surprise.

I'm surprised the B Team haven't followed their Parent Clubs' more prudent financial model since exiting Administration but there again, perhaps they should go all in and add thicker white stripes to their home kit next year to cement the relationship.

Class and dignity fc up to their old tricks again

Every club does it to be fair.

Could be interesting though, given the fact they are already under a transfer embargo on academy players, with a second year suspended. Surely it will make the ears of the FA prick up.

Is it not beyond a joke now with them buying saints players?

I mean mention it to them and they would justify them all but surely I am not the only one that sees it as pretty much a parody of the transfer market now, 4 seasons in a row they go and buy players there

If the RS get a transfer ban, given previous experience all English clubs will get a transfer ban just as we get a billionaire owner. How Everton is that?

Oh another youngster with a revisionist version of history and a 21st century whine that didn't happen at the time.

If we do everything clean we won't get a transfer ban regardless of the RS, just as other English teams wouldn't have got a ban had we all not had a hooligan problem, none moreso than us with the County Road Cutters the most notorious firm outside London and Andy Nicholls the most notorious hooligan in northern England....who "just happened to be at Heysel" despite Everton not playing.
