There's a dude on RAWK who is my new favourite. He is completely in thrall to stats but doesn't know how to read them. Klaassen's dutch league stats are very impressive, but his Europa league were less so, so he decides the Europa league stats are more important.

He conveniently ignores his record in their Champions League campaign as it completely invalidates his point but worse than that he just doesn't grasp that 13 games just isn't statistically significant. When any single datum point can cause massive fluctuation in the figures then they should be taken with fistfuls of salt.

But he just keeps banging about his stats. Another one is that the stats show Sandro is really good at finishing but that just proves he's overrated. Or something.

Proper oddball. I was genuinely laughing out loud at some of his posts. Needless to say the RAWKites think he's brilliant!

Is this because there are quotes from him about any player would want to join Liverpool and how he never had to think for a second about joining ? Obviously he then wanted to leave , twice and I think he only signed a new Barca deal less than 12 months ago but I suppose that doesn't fit with their narrative.

I was reading this helmets posts the other day when I got to the bit where he said Pickford's distribution was rubbish.

I haven't read one of his posts since, total useless.

He probably a younger relative of the guy that invented the Alternate League table.
 
They're getting nervous over at RAWK now due to lack of signings. Reality is actually sinking in that they're not a big pull for the big players.

Champions League football is overrated. Finishing 4th doesn't guarantee anything. Players move for money first these days, not the CL group stages.

The very very best players move to the likes of Real Madrid and Barca, not Liverpool!

It's about the third time they've announced his signing. They have to do something against the wall to wall reporting about Everton. By about the end of next week and our further two or three signings they will announce that they are invading North Korea.......
