The 'Magnificent 7' jailed and banned for their antics at Old Trafford last year, what a shame.
Was just reading this, the Liverpool fans who caused it and participated in the violence were jailed for 12 weeks, 10 weeks, 6 weeks...
The man United fans who reacted and fought against these melts who had infiltrated the home fans section supposingly spitting at the home fans , goading, fighting and unfurling banners ended up getting 10 months, 8 months and 6 months jail. Plus they ended up with significantly longer stadium bans than the red beauts.

Special Dispensation F.C. at its very best as per usual

TBH you don't know what the legal advice those blokes (the United fans) received was. Going guilty at the start probably meant they were looking at less prison time than they might have been (Affray is three years and as we all know they don't treat fans leniently) but also meant that they had to accept they'd been charged with more serious offences than the RS, without the option of being found guilty of lesser offences. Not sure why the RS were charged with lesser offences mind, especially as at least two of them were seen throwing punches themselves.

Are the Echo messing here?! They're promoting a fundraising page for the Liverpool fans that got sent to prison.

They've admitted the offence!!

I detest that rag of a paper and that club's fans. Pathetic.

oh, you are f*cking kidding me?!!!!!!!!!!

a fundraiser for criminals who admitted their act, wtf?! Who on earth would donate money to them. Any other club in the world and they would be hounded for giving the club a bad name. How on earth are their families getting money? What for? They're only going to prison for a couple of weeks anyway.

Jesus christ.

What next? A justgiving page will be set up to give them new identities and buy them all season tickets so that they can attend matches again?

Note: Kopites, please do not read that line above and actually do this, it was sarcasm

Lets not get the blue bunting out yet boys

As it stands, Liverpool have added in my opinion a very good winger (Chelsea reject calls are daft, DeBruyne? Lukaku? etc), thye have added the best young striker in the country at a fraction of what he should cost and added Robertson also were i think the jury is out.
My guess is Coutinho will stay, they will ask him for 1 more year and he will probably feel he owes it to liverpool, especially with them playing in the champions league.
They have 2 obsticals to get past to get there 2 other main targets in Van Dijk & Keita, they have the players on board wiith the tapping up part of the deal so they just have to work on hte clubs. My guess is Saints will fold and liverpool will get Van Dijk and the tapping up will all be "nah that didnt happen, anyway, everyone does it laaa), but they wont get Keita.
They have dead wood to shift and some mug will buy moreno, markovic and sakho will probably go for some decent chedder also.

its a big month for LFC and even if they dont get Keita & Van Dijk, but keep Coutinho they would be in a stronger position than they were at the begining of the window.

Also talk of defensive frailtys are a little ott. The derby at ours last year first half especially, we threw the kitchen sink at them, i remember watford away also were they ground a 1-0 out.
Infact just checked the stats they conceded less goals than us and arsenal, and only 3 more than city
Bravo Bravo Bravo, Coutinho will go and your Manager will walk, and I'm so looking forward to the meltdown, have you got your protest banner ready yet lad.

you keep telling yourself that in your sleep. Absolutely no indication whatsoever that solanke is anywhere close to the bets young striker in the country. Not even close to someone like sandro ramirez for example. Anyway, their "strengthening" is not even close to the strengthening that everyone else in the top 7 has done so they're without a doubt worse off. Spurs still have a better squad despite not buying anyone ... before you try and suggest that.

When i say best young strikers in the country, i meant english striker by the way.
You also contradict yourself by saying everyone else in the top 7 are strengthening then go on to say spurs are better, despite not buying anyone.
I agree spurs are better, but i am yet to see if the others are.
Is bakayoko for chelsea going to be a hit? Will Morata settle & be better than Costa?
Citys goalkeeper could easily be a nightmare, and despite buying attacking fullbacks, there problem was defensivly, they throw to many people forward and get caught on the break.
Lukaku will improve United, i think thats one team that have improved.
Lacazette is the only person Arsenal have brought in, again same as Morata, no guarentee he will be a success.
No gaurentee Salah will be any good either i agree, but until Coutinho is on that plane over to Barcelona, and I see Klopp franticly looking like a dog who has been biffed on the head and dosent know what by on transfer deadline day because FSG dont want to spend the type of money on Keita and VVD and he is looking at Koyate & Robert Huth instead, id hold off on saying they are en route for disaster
