Re: The Alternative Premier League Table 2017-18

Great to see this back.

Three par 3s to kick us off so we should be looking to achieve maximum points.

hehe, as homer simpson would say ... doh.

Does his alternative table ever actually end the same as the end result? Because if it never does, why would you follow it? It's a bit pointless doing all that effort and then after game 38 say "well, i was only 2 positions out for that team, that team did better than expected, that team were 15 points worse off than my table showed... oh and i only included 6 teams of the 20 because i was too dumb to realise someone else could win it and then leicester went and did it, which made my whole table utterly pointless because it didn't include the eventual champions".

So when the RS finish outside the top 6 this season, will he just go and include the "top 6" next season anyway?

They're now leading the calls for the window to shut earlier, before the season starts, and PL clubs are all gonna vote on whether it should be for them.
Utterly shameless that club.

I am thinking there must be a fair few decent LFC supporters who seriously cringe at the depths of cultish, 'Jonestown-like' insanity their 'fellow' supporters plumb.
In every fan-base there are plonkers. But Liverpool does seem to attract an egregiously high amount of them.

I ran into one today, who commented on my Everton beanie. Said his dad supported Everton so he supported Liverpool. Seemed like a nice bloke, genuinely pleased that Rooney had returned.

Of course the Special Dispensation Committee (Windows) will ask for a "louvre" to allow the RS to open and close the window at will should they wish to buy/sell at will.

If it goes through (which it will) it wouldn't have made their issue over Coutinho go away, as Europe won't have the same deadline as us, and the proposal won't prohibit sales into other leagues after the purchase deadline here has closed.
