While Redknapp was criticising Liverpool for not strengthening, I believe Carragher mentioned that even VVD wouldn't fix their approach.

Anyone got a link to the actual footage as I've had a few drinks since then? Would be interesting if their beloved media is starting to turn on.

He was right though. Redknapp couldn't grasp that whoever they had in there, they would be set up the same.
 
Just been in bookies 2 rs talking I heard one say to his mate I could not sleep last night after it was rumoured klopp might walk over the Courtino drama,ffs.

I thought the penny seemed to drop halfway through but he was stupidly committed to making a ridiculous point . Redknapp was clueless and it was obviously frustrating Carragher that his fellow pundit couldn't grasp his perfectly reasonable proposition that bringing in VVD wouldn't alter why they manager stood Firmino.

Redknapp was saying that if VVD was playing for them, he would have cleared it - Carraghers argument was that he wouldn't have been near it because it was Firminho's man, VVD would have been occupying either Lovren or Matip's positions, therefore nowhere near the ball.

Redknapp couldn't grasp that and basically said 'when' (not if) VVD is playing for them they won't have that problem. The sense of entitlement makes my blood boil.
 

Deep depression in kent today. every football shirt i could see yesterday was their red rag. Interesting thing about our marketing, not seen 1 everton shirt in 5 years down here and usually see 4-5 of their shirts a day. I guess we leave ours untill matchday, when they wear theirs all day everyday.

Mixture of the mutants and the real reds....
Mutants for me if i,m honest, they,ll never accept their entitlement to what the actual league states at this early stage weather now or the end of the season...

No matter how it ends if they don,t win it, you can be sure it,s a *Conspiresee Lar*...
