BBC, Sky, BT, they’re all just kopite media mouthpieces one rung above Aldo let loose on his typewriter in the red echo. I still remember how they basically ignored Man City when they won the league in 13/14 because they were in mourning over Liverpool. The commentary for that City Liverpool game at Anfield was disgusting, genuinely disappointed when City got it back to 2-2 before their euphoria at Coutinho winning it. Honestly no better moment than the piping down of the entire media establishment by Jose with that win at Anfield. Every normal football fan in the country breathed a sigh of relief.

I can't stand Mourinho and his negative tactics, but on that day, i was absolutely made up it was a mourinho team they were facing (a second string also).
Previous post about "every neutral" wanting liverpool to win hte league that year was spot on, it seemed like for a period of 4 months straight they were on tv 4pm prime time at home every single week, alan parry (or martin tyler) sat there absolutely yelling in a lfc goal like Aldo in his radio city hey day, and sulking in silence every time they concede

I’ll never hear a word against him. Rocked up at Anfield with a B team and beats their supposedly unstoppable relentless team to deprive them of the title when Chelsea weren’t even in the race themselves. He literally hated them that much.
