It’s amusing. Always preferred Leeds massive collapse personally as it’s possibly the worst city in the country and their fans are vile. That’s my subjective opinion though.
On the actual topic, like I said earlier the fact you quoted someone on RAWK who I’m guessing was referring to you tells me you visit that site and take an interest in what they say. EDIT - i used to live in Leeds and the northside is very pleasant these days. Meanwood's got a Waitrose!
Fans are weird but lots of them come from the pit villages rather than Leeds itself.

I had to google a word you yourself used- “rawkite”. You must be quite familiar with the site yourself given your adding words to our lexicon and quoting from it. It’s either that or I know of it due to the infamy surrounding what is the worst piece of statistical analysis of all time; the alternative premier league table. Now that’s a table they can be top off any day they like.
And perhaps Leeds has changed. To be fair it was never always about football- any animosity I encountered always seemed to be an issue of people hating scousers. That’s something which occurs throughout the country. I went there a lot to visit friends who were studying there and it was a good student city. But the locals man. They catch a whiff of the accent and it’s like an inner city deliverance.
