For me he could probably deliver a side that plays OK football in about 2/3 seasons, I.e. moving it about a bit and getting at sides down the wings from time to time, But thats it. In terms of coaching skill it's hardly even worth a mention when the side you manager have played that way for 40-50yrs.

They and thier board will want to see them challenging sides with much better players and managers without anything near the money those sides will spend. To add to that it's clear that he's got nowhere near the eye for a player that managers like Moyes and Redknapp have got to get as close as our sides have.

I look forward to the rodgers out bands starting up in a big way round Feb-March time.

I hope to get a bit of Yanks out stuff too if the Ground thing drags on another couple of years.

Both me and others have said before it he's got more than a touch of the mike walkers about him and he just looks out of his depth. From reading , Watford & Swansea he's been thrown into the media spotlight where whatever he says ends up reported to death. The rubbish on the documentary showed me he just seemed to be trying to hard and at almost every other club the fans response would have shown him that but with those strangies they encouraged him to say more and more so he pandered to them.

The total mishandling of the situation with Carroll , Adam and now I suspect downing further identifies a bloke out of his comfort zone struggling to survive . Like someone promising their girlfriend they'll marry them ' one day' or telling a girl how great they are in bed sooner or later they've got to deliver or move on because although useful bullsh*t only takes you so far. For me Rodgers and his patter is slowly being revealed for exactly what it is, They certainly aren't top four and they aren't sh*te they just aren't very good
