ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

It was a penalty. All day long. Usual lack of humility from the players and management of a team who feel it is their divine right to receive favourable calls in big games. Just because it was our first penalty there in 60 years says more about the media circus that surrounds them than the decision itself. It was a foul inside the box. Penalty.

Have a look at how Milner stands on the spot before the pen is taken, how they surround Pawson in disbelief a foul against our player in their box is given as a penalty. Just seen Klopp try to say it wasn't a pen because they had attacked more.

They don't get why everyone hates them - sometimes the other team get a decision too - hope they take their complaint to UEFA.

Close up of Klopp in that interview

Just saw this in the Guardian match report:

"The guy in the Everton jacket, are you happy about your game?” asked the Liverpool manager as he disputed Craig Pawson’s decision to penalise Dejan Lovren for a slight push on Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The guy in the Everton jacket said he was happy with the point. Klopp, bizarrely, replied: “That’s what my mother said when I came from school.”

I don't even understand what he's trying to say?

No one did. The journos just laughed as if to say 'wtf is he on about?'

The absolute best part though was when he asked for a show of hands in the room whether it was a pen or not. Three people put their hands up and he initially buzzed off it before everyone else piped up saying that it was and he was like '..oh'. He's had an absolute mare today.
