Apparently the lives of Alan Shearer's family were threatened after Shearer's comment about the Firmino racism incident.

I’d actually be genuinely concerned at the consequences for public safety if they ever see a big decision in a big game go against them at The Pit. They of all clubs should be wary and learn from history.

The Kopites have bullied Holgate off Twitter by unearthing tweets he made when a 15 year old kid, purely because he had the audacity to be upset at perceived racism by one of their players.

Their fanbase is pure scum.

On Twitter, Holgate tweeted a few anti-gay things that loads of teenagers would say - not right but boys will be boys and obviously he'd regret saying those things in hindsight now that he's, you know, an adult - and he's deactivated his account after being hounded by the scum.

Matt Le Tissier retweeted a horrifically homophobic article from the Daily Mail recently, via Simon Jordan, and he's pushing 50 but they're not going after him.
